I managed to actually write all my prompts for the three line stories fic meme, what odd miracle is this! And so of course I must commemorate by putting them all here.

Some of these are nonsense, because, um, a story in three lines? Have you met me and the endless stream of babble that is my default setting? Also, sometimes they just aren't three lines. Ha ha, rebellion!

I have been watching tons of Gilmore Girls lately. I feel like, somehow, that explains a lot about this. The Dollhouse = Stars Hollow, kinda, right? Oh, those zany kids!

Also – at the beginning of this season, the thing I was like the most excited about was the introduction of Franklin, The Sassy Dollhouse Wardrobe Guy. I wanted that man around forever! This, then, is my tribute to him. To be quite honest, I didn’t even know his name was Franklin until imdb told me. Thanks, imdb!

Anyway. This is tremendously nonsensical & silly & random, not to mention verging at all times on total OOCitude. However, I sort of feel like I get some weird pass in this scenario, since tomorrow will no doubt be soul crushing, and therefore we should obviously prep for it with ~utter fluffsome nonsense~!

( “Might you care to explain, Mr. Dominic,” Adelle DeWitt says, staring with mild distaste down at the splotches of blood darkening her little black dress, “why you just shot my date in the head?” )

Summary: My body is a cage that keeps me from dancing with the one I love. Adelle and Dominic. In which fourteen years pass, and some connections never do quite fade.
Author's Note: Because the day before school starts, what better thing to do than weirdly decide, "I AM GOING TO WRITE AN EPIC D/D FIC THAT SPANS OVER A DECADE." Yeah, I don't know! This took a few fragments of scenes that I'd started already, adds a bunch of new ones, and basically bounces back and forth throughout the whole duration of their relationship, including Me Being Really Optimistic About Neither Of Them Dying For Awhile. (Come on, Joss, let the morally dubious pairing prosper! Kill the good guys!)

I really like the way that the show's been handling going back and forth in time with its flashbacks, so I wrote this in the spirit of that. It is pretty much all over the place, not chronological or linear at all. I hope that it's pretty easy to follow, but just in case, I will provide a key for if you guys get really lost and need to refer back to it!

Author's Note: I sat down to put the finishing touches on my English essay and suddenly it's 2:36 in the morning and this exists and I still haven't done all of my reading for tomorrow! Damn it, awesome power of Adelle DeWitt. You are my master now. (Sorry, academic success!)

Also, this is rated PG-13 for absolutely no legit reason. I just kind of felt like anything even remotely related to that EPISODE OF DOOM AND WONDER shouldn't be rated something as quaintly tame as PG.
