I managed to actually write all my prompts for the three line stories fic meme, what odd miracle is this! And so of course I must commemorate by putting them all here.

Some of these are nonsense, because, um, a story in three lines? Have you met me and the endless stream of babble that is my default setting? Also, sometimes they just aren't three lines. Ha ha, rebellion!

Author's Note: I was flippin' through the super cool Dorothy Parker anthology I checked out from the library, and I came across the poem "Fair Weather," which immediately started shouting ELIZABETH SWANN, ELIZABETH SWANN! at me. Who was I to resist that kind of pressure?

So I figured I'd like to have it over here as well as in what I affectionately refer to as The Gigantic Fearsome Cesspool of Death, also known as Fanfiction.Net.

And, just to avoid confusion, the first section takes place before CotBP (or, well, technically, in the same period of time as the opening scene), the second takes place before CotBP, the third takes place right after the Elizabeth/Norrington deleted scene in CotBP, the fourth takes place in DMC, and the fifth takes place in AWE. Whoo!

Author's Note: Part of what really got me about Elizabeth and Norrington in AWE (and man, did I get got by them) was the sense that Elizabeth finally realized the strength of Norrington's love for her and, on some level, recognized for the first time that under vastly different circumstances, she might have been happy with him. Her change of heart made that scene all the more tragic and amazing for me, so naturally, I had to play around with what-might-have-been-type fic ideas. :D

( The pirate Jack Sparrow is captured at Port Royal on the day that Elizabeth accepts Commodore Norrington's proposal. )
