Title: finer things (or lack thereof)
Pairing: Pam/Toby
Rating: G
Word Count: 3,352
Summary: The Finer Things Club does Sense & Sensibility.
Author's Note: So, wow, I am just out of practice at this! Could not think of a title! Could not think of a summary! The fic itself is stilted and weird and awkward! However, I justify this by the fact that Toby, around Pam? Kind of stilted and weird and awkward. (Oh, Toby.)

Also, it has been a really, really long time since I did Office fic. So, er, all my sins are forgiven? RIGHT.

I don't know much. All I know is that I love Toby. And Pam/Toby. And Oscar. And the flippin' Finer Things Club.

Maybe that's all we really need to know.

(Sidenote: It's weird to write Pam so happy. I'm used to being in season three fanfic-wise!)

Austen's sort of inevitable. )

Title: solidarity (for the lovelorn)
Character(s)/Pairing: Karen, Toby, Jim/Pam
Spoilers: through "The Job"
Word Count: 761
Rating: G
Summary: Her first thought is that she’s gotta be in really depressing shape if Toby’s feeling bad for her.
Author's Note: This is me, trying to get back into the Office-writing swing of things. And oh, man, writing this made me all wistful. Oh, Jim/Karen and Toby/Pam. I loved you dearly.

An office picnic seems kind of unnecessary, considering Beach Day was, what, a little over a month ago? )

Title: the brave soul
Character/Pairings: Pam; Jim/Pam, Pam/Toby, Pam/Roy
Rating: PG
Word Count: 3,551
Spoilers: "Business School"
Summary: There are certain paintings she leaves out. She doesn't like looking at them; they feel like accidents more than anything else.
Author's Note: This last episode reminded me exactly why and how much I love a certain Miss Pamela Beesly -- I'm in awe of how realistically and poignantly her character is being handled this season. After all of the Jim trauma, it's more than understandable that her Fancy New Beesly demeanor would regress, but with that comment from Gil (who had LINES!!), which, painful as it was, she needed to hear, I think we might just see the show bringing Fancy New Beesly back. Which pleases me so much that I'm apparently moved to make really lame Justin Timberlake references.

Um. Fic now. Riiiiiight.

And moreover, to succeed, the artist must possess the courageous soul. )

Title: so hold on
Pairings: Ryan/Kelly, Toby/Pam, Jim/Karen, Michael/Jan, Dwight/Angela
Rating: G
Word Count: 2,235
Spoilers: Up through "Traveling Salesman," including the second deleted scene
Summary: The aftermath of "Traveling Salesman." 'Cause everybody hurts sometimes.
Author's Note: This episode was so emotionally scarring, I swear. OH DWIGHT. Ergo . . . this?

They were all Stanley. )

Title: well then i like seeing you at bedtime
Pairings: Jim/Karen, Ryan/Kelly, Michael/Jan, Dwight/Angela, Pam/Toby
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 3,675
Spoilers: Set in the not-too-distant future after "Back from Vacation"
Summary: Pillow talk, or something like it.
Author's Note: So, this is pretty much just me basking in how much I love all of these ships, heh. (And certain other fandoms, like, say, Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter. Thankfully, I'm subtle about it.) Title is a line stolen from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, because clearly my two television show loves must meet someday. (And TOTALLY WILL; yay for Joss directing in the spring!)

Also, my not-entirely-unfounded suspicion that Karen is a Buffy fan is taken from the fact that her Call of Duty name was 'KarentheJimSlayer' in The Coup. So . . . there?

Truth or dare. )

Title: since feeling is first
Pairings: Jim/Pam, Karen/Pam, Pam/Toby, Roy/Pam
Spoilers: Up through "A Benihana Christmas"
Word Count: 6,292
Summary: In which Pam lets go, crawls back, finds something she wasn't looking for, and finally gets her happily ever after. Sort of.
Author's Note: I really don't know where this came from. Originally, it was going to be a 5 Things fic inspired by the fact that Pam has all of these truly phenomenal ships, all of which I am enamoured with (seriously! Jam! Pam and Roy! Pam and Toby!! Pam and Karen -- who knew? -- I want them all!!), and then every section except the first one turned epic, so I scrapped the first one (because, really, it was just an attempt to get five, and I'm not sure Pam/Andy ever deserves to see the light of day). Anyway, all of these stories sort of tied into each other, and turned into one big Pam-kinda-finding-herself-through-all-these-people deal. Or something. Honestly, I'm a little dazed on account of having sat here for the past seven or so hours and couldn't tell you what it was about at the moment, beyond, well, Pam. Also, there's some kissing. Enjoy?

And it's not like Jim forgets. )

Title: certainty and cold hard fact
Spoilers: Set before the Jan/Michael scene in Branch Closing
Word Count: 1,752
Summary: Sometimes it feels like her whole life has come to revolve around Michael Scott. The thought makes her ill and a little light-headed, and usually drives her to the nearest pack of cigarettes.
Author's Note: Because, sure, she was more or less professionalism and poise personified in the episode, but surely she must have been at least a little antsy. Oh, Jan. You and your unwavering facades. I love Jan.

It's a two and a half hour drive to Scranton. )
