Title: I think clapping is how hands mourn
Pairing: Russell/Talbot
Spoilers: through 3x12 "Evil Is Going On"
Word Count: 1,781
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Since he’s been left alone with his grief, Russell decides his grief might as well keep him company.
Author's Note: In no way did this actually need to be written, but I decided to be self-indulgent, since my two-week whirlwind romance with this show has brought me lots of entertainment after spending a long time being REAL BORED. Everyone on this show delights me (yes, even Beel. Most of the time), but this fabulous duo delights me the most. And I really, really enjoyed pondering just what it would do to you to lose someone you had been with for seven hundred years. That's a lot of years!
Oh, vampires. The things you make possible.
As of 9/17, this has been edited a bit from its original version, because I found Denis O'Hare's comments about Russell and Talbot's backstory in this interview far too lovely to be contradicted. :)
