dollsome: (tb;; did it all for the lolz)
Title: love and marriage and marriage
Characters: Russell, Talbot, Sophie-Anne
Spoilers: through 3x07 "Hitting the Ground"
Word Count: 552
Rating: PG-13
Summary: In which Talbot and Sophie-Anne aren't exactly wild about the idea of being co-married to the Vampire King of Mississippi.
Author's Note: This was written for the Doomed Ships Comment Ficathon, for [livejournal.com profile] preromantics's marvelous prompt, Russell/Sophie-Anne, dining room curtains. I AM HAVING TOO MUCH FUN WITH THIS SHOW, it's official. Somebody stop me before I write the fic where Eric and Pam go Stephenie Meyer hunting! (I swear I mean that in the least evil way possible.)

Truly, it's a match made in heaven. )
dollsome: (TB ♦ she is the darkness)
Title: Plant your hope with good seeds
Pairing: Bill/Lorena
Word Count: 600
Rating: PG
Summary: Perfect Southern belle though she may seem (swooshing skirts, soft drawls), Lorena likes a proper winter.
Author's Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] anythingbutgrey's wonderful Doomed Ships Comment Ficathon (go play!), for [livejournal.com profile] angearia's prompt 'Bill/Lorena, I wish I'd known you then before your heart turned black', which grabbed my heart at once.

I kinda SUPER LOVE Lorena and her lovelorn crazy, I can't help it! I have loved Angel/Darla for a zillion years, I was hopelessly predisposed to dig this dynamic.

I begged you to hear me, there's more than flesh and bones. )
dollsome: (TB ♦ king & consort)
Title: I think clapping is how hands mourn
Pairing: Russell/Talbot
Spoilers: through 3x12 "Evil Is Going On"
Word Count: 1,781
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Since he’s been left alone with his grief, Russell decides his grief might as well keep him company.
Author's Note: In no way did this actually need to be written, but I decided to be self-indulgent, since my two-week whirlwind romance with this show has brought me lots of entertainment after spending a long time being REAL BORED. Everyone on this show delights me (yes, even Beel. Most of the time), but this fabulous duo delights me the most. And I really, really enjoyed pondering just what it would do to you to lose someone you had been with for seven hundred years. That's a lot of years!

Oh, vampires. The things you make possible.

As of 9/17, this has been edited a bit from its original version, because I found Denis O'Hare's comments about Russell and Talbot's backstory in this interview far too lovely to be contradicted. :)

My left hand will live longer than my right. )
