I hope you don't mind me coming back, but I thought I would comment once I'd listened to it through in a bit more detail :)

The Donna De Lory is just absolutely beautiful. That introduction killed me beyond words. My eyes may have watered. Such a good choice.

Also, the general tone of all tracks is great - very adult, grown-up, like the choices the two of them have to make :) And One Line is a great closer. "Come assert your place as this/you never left my mind" - *dies*

And I'm glad that the tone works -- I'm so persnickety about making fanmixes, because it's not enough if the lyrics work! I like everything to just have a vibe that's fitting of the ship, so I'm glad this captured that.

And I'm glad that you love the Donna De Lory; that song is like the musical love of my life at the moment. Originally, I was going to use the original version of that song by Joseph Arthur instead, but the cover wound up just sounding more Guy/Marian-y to me. :) And really, how can one argue with that kind of inarguable logic?

I have to tell you: I have several friends on my list who are similarly giddy over Guy/Marian, and when one asked if ANYONE ELSE was talking about them, I directed that friend to you. I've always loved your icons, fics, and assorted fan-dries, but you've been especially giddy and prolific in this. I was so glad to point people your way and say, "She is talking about it! With joy! Oh, that is delightful to me! :) It felt like for the longest time ever it was just thepodsquad and I all by ourselves going, "THEY ARE SO AMAZING. HOW DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THE AMAZING?? COME ON, WORLD, CATCH ON!!" and now this season the world is catching on, and it's miraculous!!
