My instinctive reaction to them is "I WANT THEM TO GET MARRIED," and then I realize that they are married, and then I'm just left to bounce around like a stupid fangirl. They are so right up there with Marshall and Lily on the Greatest Couples That Have Been Together Fooorever list.
i totally agree. zomg marshall/lily! i miss himym so much. i have a friend thats thinking about getting into himym and i'm like "DO ITTT! DO ITTT! MARSHALL/LILY AND BARNEY/ROBIN ARE THE GREATEST THINGS THAT EVER EXISTED IN THE HISTORY OF TV!"
YESSSS, DOOOOO IT!!! I feel like if I get everyone I know to watch that show, I will have contributed something to the world with my life. And I love how everyone just loves Marshall/Lily. Watching my friends get all "aww!" over them always brings me lots of joy.
I kind of want to do a post about awesome couples that are ... couple-y, as opposed to doing the whole typical sexual tension thing on TV, but my list goes: Gwen and Rhys, Marshall and Lily, Hodgins and Angela ... and then I run out!! Is there someone awesome that I'm forgetting, or are adorable stable(...ish) couples just that rare on television?
normally i don't even go for the "aww so cute" couples because i find they get boring very quickly but lately i've just been so into the aww inspiring ones. marshall/lily, gwen/rhys, angela/hodgins and maybe coach/mrs. coach from FNL are the only really adorable couples that I just love to pieces so i think maybe they really are THAT rare. i love it when a television couple can actually be happy. man i am really missing himym right now. i think i need to do a marathon of all seasons ASAP. ooh I thought of another aww inspiring couple...or at least they were aww inspiring at first - ted/stella on himym!
Oh! Yeah! I have heard so much about Coach/Mrs. Coach, and I just know they would own my soul if I ever watched FNL. I have never felt compelled to, although I've heard a lot about its brilliance, but maybe I'll watch it someday. If only for another happy couple.

But then Ted/Victoria ultimately won. 'Cause there's cupcakes? However -- the Two Minute Date is seriously the stuff of adorable shippy legend.
