I have been wanting to make this for awhile, and today I finally did! / cool story bro

This is one of my favorite movies -- rarely does a romcom reach such heights of witty, poignant perfection! -- and somewhere along the line, this song came into my mind in relation to this movie and then, well, I couldn't be stopped! (Except for the part where this took me forever.)

It's possible that the last 15 or so minutes of this movie are nowhere to be found in this vid. My artsy fanvidder reasoning behind this is that this song struck me as reflective of Jessica's journey toward coming to terms with her feelings for Helen, rather than the entire duration of the relationship. But it is also maybe the tiniest bit possible that I just wanted to defy the canon ending a little bit and stop on a fluffier note. :D
