FLAIL WHAT NO? I WAS GOING TO TRY AND GIVE IT UP BUT GODDAMN YOU!
Oh, so gorgeous, so fucked up and believable and broken and human and perfect. And I love how you've characterized the two women within Morgana and within Uther's memories. And the line about forgetting he has a queen really struck a chord with me because they do appear married more often than not. And just, this is the story i wanted to write about this (my first thought was, do a Morgana reminds him of Vivian piece, do it, forget any semblance of morals you have do it) but then you did it! WHICH IS BETTER BECAUSE THIS WAY I GET TO READ IT! So I love you. And I HATE YOU BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO TRY AND GIVE THEM UP. But he is so obsessed with her, and not bothered that she's in his chambers, and she was so betrayed and hurt by him. And, oh god.
ANd in case my reaction to the episode got mixed up with my reaction to this fic: This fic is gorgeous, your prose is, as usual, amazingly poetic. Uther is just so perfectly humanly fucked in this, and I love it.
