I genuinely sat and pondered for a LONG TIME about what, exactly, dudes would do to show their enthusiasm and appreciation for each other in a pre-high five/fist bump/chest bump world. I genuinely pondered over this. I guess I could have gone with, like, hearty claps on the shoulder, but I didn't think of that at the time. All I knew was that, in my head and in my heart, they were fist bumping. And then chest bumping. And then I was finally like, UTHER HAD SEX WITH A TROLL, and therein rested my sweet justification.
