OHALKSJDFLKJD this might be very silly, but this almost moved me to tears! Honestly, the imagery and the mood and everything about this was absolutely beautiful. I just love how you showed the tender warmth of their relationship in this small moment even if it isn't meant to last, and I am basically going to come back and read this whenever I need cheering up.
