What a lovely hidden moment between them. You had me the minute the stepped into the limo, because, um, YES. Show, why didn't you ever have them plotting-talking-making out-whatever in limos?
The whole piece was just filled with fantastic little hints and character moments that quoting them all back to you would be redundant, but this:
It’s not like he’s drunk. Just … extra-observant.
He looks at her, and he can’t quite adjust to the notion that Adelle DeWitt, of all people, is that blindly idealistic.
and
He knew plenty about her before he met her but there are certain things you can’t see coming, like the way she looks right now with darkness draped over her, her hair coming loose and her hand on her neck. Maybe he is a little drunk.
Really that whole bit in parenthesis but the end especially with the drunk line because it's the perfect line to tie up Dom's thoughts ands put you into his frame of mind--thinking he's probably shouldn't but can't help having. Adelle just killed with the 'are you seeing anyone' line. The 'healing speech' was very true to what I think Adelle believes in too.
