I felt like there was a lot of that going on in the actual episode, but at the same time I was so EMOTIONALLY SLAIN that I didn't really know how to work out the parallels or sort it out concretely in my brain. I think I wrote that scene in an attempt to work out the parallels concretely in my brain, but instead it just turned out all jumbly and trippy. WHEDON, I WILL NEVER SORT OUT MY NUMEROUS SWEEPING EMOTIONS OVER THIS EPISODE.
