no worries at all, your Ted is perfect. and I'm a big Ted fangirl so I'm always very critical with fanficcers' takes on my boy. he is such an enigma! i can't imagine writing him myself except that I still hope to write that story in which Karen Filipelli is The Mother that's been on my mind forever.
