the tiny little sliver that a girl with an eating disorder allows herself when she’s out to dinner with friends and then pukes up as soon as she’s alone.
This whole story was absolutely gorgeous, but that line really made me sit up and take notice, and go back and reread this a second and third time. It just gets better each time. ♥ for Santana being hurt and angry, for Brittany noticing the Santana details and for her thoughts showing that she might be disconnected from the world everyone else lives in but still being smart and aware in her own way.
So singing about catching the bus could mean a lot of things. Maybe when you catch the bus you miss something else. This, and when Brittany looks for a song about her future, are probably my favorite parts, aside from the ending. Excellent story.
