Tactic #1: turn him against Angel, plain and simple. He’s only been working with the vampire for a couple weeks, and something tells her it wouldn’t exactly be hard to break this one.
“On the contrary,” he says proudly. “Working with Angel is nothing short of exhilarating. Why, just last Monday, he and I took out a nest of viscous sloth demons living in the basement of a fraternity house. The slime was, I grant you, unpleasant, but the thrill of danger! The rush of triumph in the face of near-certain death! I feel it forged quite an intimate bond between us.”
Maybe he’s gay.
Wait, that's right: WRITTEN PERFECTION.
This whole thing is flawless. Yeah, I said it. Flawless. I love the way you write this goofy little gang, and although I never really got into Wesley/Lilah (poor upbringing? seriously lacking taste? haven't seen enough of season 4?) I found them quite wonderful here. I can just so easily imagine the whole fake-but-real-but-fake relationship as a realistic and entirely feasible tactic Wesley would take to get Highly Secretive Inside Info on the enemy. Especially bumbling, eager to please, rogue demon hunter Wesley of yore.
Also, even though they did not have starring roles in this: ANGEL AND CORDELIA. So, so wonderful.

In short: brilliant.
In redundancy: flawless.
