I once went to dinner with Blake Morrison, and then saw David Nicholls at the Hay festival talking about 'One Day' and I totally name-dropped Morrison during the Q&A, because 'South of the River' uses a similar structure. And now I'm doing it again. Sorry. I haven't achieved much, this is all I have.
