Whenever October rolls 'round, I am filled with the overwhelming urge to write many seasonal eerie (or, ya know, silly & shenanigous) Halloween tales -- but then I never actually find the motivation to do it! So this Halloween season, let's make it happen via fic meme!

Comment with a fandom, a pairing/characters/whatever-you-prefer, and a prompt that is somehow Halloween festive, and I will write you an October-y tale!

copperiisulfate and I were talking yesterday about how ~sexy times~ tend to get more attention than friendship on TV and in fandom, and what a shame that can be. (Although a pretty delightful and understandable shame.) So I was thinking that maybe it would be fun to celebrate good old-fashioned friend time in a comment ficathon. Which will either be super jolly, or super super lame. I can't quite decide. But I figure it's worth a shot! And really, it's always just fun to have an excuse to make up prompts.

1. Despite the general concept, I think the pairings this can apply to are pretty widespread. Friendship is an important component of romantic love, after all! I guess the bottom line is to focus the fic more on buddydom than makeouts & such? (Basically: this is your spinster aunt's comment ficathon. I'm dollsome, I'm worse than everybody's aunt.)


2. Prompts should basically have a 'Fandom -- pairing or characters -- prompt' format.


3. If you reply to a prompt, please put the fandom, pairing/characters, and title in your comment's subject line!
