So, er, I had to do a Guy/Marian picspam from tonight's episode, considering it is the actual most beautiful thing in my life. Sorry, history paper. You lose.
The captions for this might be pretty questionable, because I'm not sure whether I can form a coherent thought about this episode. It was beautiful. It was far more beautiful than I ever would have dared to dream Guy/Marian might ever be allowed to be. I guess that's what I get for thinking nothing could ever top their scene in 2x03. Which this did so much.
Gah, he loves her. And by this point, no power in the damn universe can make me believe Marian doesn't care about him at least a little bit.
Aw, man, I remember back after season one ended and I wasn't even sure whether we'd get to see them interact anymore. Thank you, show. Even if Robin/Marian is inevitable, at least we get all of these incredible brain-breaking scenes along the way.

Good way to get me excited about an episode? Start it with Guy and Marian bickering like married people.

I love how they go from having one of their trademark omg-so-tense-and-uncomfortable-and-also-very-very-hot moments one second to flirting adorably the next, instead of Guy storming out to ominous music and Marian looking profoundly awkward. Oh, show, how you've grown!
Also, cutest exchange ever--
"Am I so easily won?"
"You must be the least easily won woman in England."

"Thank you, Marian."

"I was ungrateful earlier. I'm sorry."

"I was overbearing."
The fact that they are actually apologizing to each other and making up completely kills me. Also, once I'm done with this, I'm going to go build shrines to this screencap. WHY ARE YOU SO ADORABLE, YOU TWO.

Hee! I must say, it was lovely to see the return of Guy's 'Oh my God, stop checking out my ladylove!' face that factored so largely into 2x02.

THE MOST AMAZING SCENE FROM ANYTHING EVER. And no, I do not exaggerate.

I wish they could gaze intensely at each other in every episode. Possibly the whole time.

Something about him packing the trunk and her taking all of the stuff out completely melted my heart. (And reminded me of that one scene in The Mummy, which I think just makes it all the more wonderful, because Rick/Evy? Totally at the top of my list of very favourite movie couples. And Lucy Griffiths reminds me of Rachel Weisz like crazy already.)

"Humanity is weakness."

"You don't believe that."
(I'm surprised I'm even still alive, honestly. This scene is, no lie, my absolute dream come true.)

Sigh.

Sigh.

Siiiiiiiigh. (Sweetest thing ever. I kid you not. Ever. He kissed her on the cheek.)

Stupid corrupty Sheriff. And God, Armitage is so damn amazing.

And, ya know, Lucy's not too shabby either.

And then he kills the evil pervy vengeance-seeking old guy and saves her!!

And they live happily ever after! Well, er, this week, at least. And damned if I am not going to cling to that until the end of time.
And from next week--

Yeah, I can tell from that split-second that I'm not going to be able to survive that scene without having an emotional breakdown.
Oh, Guy/Marian!!!! <3 This was unimaginably beautiful and I still have the sneaking suspicion I might have been hallucinating it all.
Are there other people on this show?
Well, Will. Will gets to be acknowledged by me, because he is awesome. And their costumes were kind of amazing. But honestly, the most substantial thought I had about Robin throughout (besides "Ahaha, I wish he always had to wear that hat!") was "Oh, man, if Robin really did die, Guy and Marian could totally get together!! And think of the angst!!!" And so the fact that he survived left me a little irrationally disappointed, considering the show is named after him and everything.
I'm so doomed.
