This was the first HIMYM fic I've read, and an excellent start, I have to say. I loved your Robin characterization, that denial is pretty much exactly what I've been thinking is going on, especially after her talk with Lily on the rooftop where she looked not at all amused by the way Lily was talking about sleeping with Barney.

She remembers how good it felt to cry on his shoulder, the steady graze of his fingers against her skin.
I love that she loved this, because it was my favorite part of the episode. In an episode that had BARNEY AND ROBIN KISSING, the comforting was my favorite part. Actually, this particular moment was my favorite part:
