I was starting to get disappointed in the amount of really good in-character HIMYM fic, but omg, this was incredible. Robin was Robin, Barney was Barney (I LOVE sweet Barney, the one he is with the girls..the one that sat next to Robin when she cried, and the one that showed up on Lily's doorstep to tell her to come back to Marshall) and I love them all the more. Excellent reactions from the characters, everything.
