Totally perfect. Your characters are just...gah. So amazingly written. The Office introduces people with strange quirks (but not in a stereotypical way) and you highlighted all of them from Angela's sterness, to Toby's pessimism (poor Toby), to Michael's innocence. I especially love your Ryan and Kelly part. Sometimes I forget why I love them two together but then I read something like this where Kelly manages to pull out a sweet vulnerable side to Ryan and I remember again.

Fav parts:

She beams at him and he thinks for a second that there could be something – but he stops himself there. He’s a little rusty when it comes to optimism.

“I’d do it again,” he says, his tone lit by quiet fierceness. “A thousand million times.”

He is, she thinks, so innocent. It’s the sort of question that a child would ask, and for some reason, it’s enough to make a lump form in the back of her throat.....to say the least, she can’t help but feel thankful.

Great observation: When he touches her, it always feels like it’s on purpose, and she can’t help but picture him with Pam – shoulders brushing by accident, or his hand drifting instinctively to the small of her back when they walk side by side Poor Karen. She shoud be with Toby so Pam can be with Jim and then everyone is happy.
