ABC really needs to fire its advertising department, because I totally expected to hate the series based on the commercials. However, I gave it a chance On Demand, since I liked the leading actors, and actually found it charming!

Anyway - THIS FIC! I love what the choices of costumes say about the characters and what they think of themselves. There are some genuinely laugh-out-load lines in this story, and I can imagine it as a scene/series of scenes in the show. Also, nice sly commentary about Slut-O-Ween.

Was Eliza's kangaroo costume in any way an allusion to Britta's squirrel costume on 'Community'?
