Hello, world! I am still stupidly excited over sharing my bb Know Not Why with the world at last, and like anyone who cut her writin' teeth (... okay, that's creepy) on the sweet sweet elixir of wonderful comments on her fanfiction (and FanFiction.Net reviews, if you wanna get OLD SCHOOL), I am dying to hear what people think. I am also sort of worryingly inclined toward having big spazzy fangirly feelings over a tale that is technically of my own creation, but - oh well!
SO! If you guys have any questions at all, or just want to tell me what you thought, or what actors you picture as the characters (I would love to know this! I have never managed a complete dream-casting of this thing), or are perhaps dying to know my Howie Jenkins playlist, or, like, some fascinating trivia (oh, there's trivia!), absolutely bring it, friends!
This might just turn into me spamming this post with silliness, but I am okay with that.
COOL LINKS, BRO
+ Currently for sale @ Smashwords! I am looking into putting it in Amazon's Kindle Store as well; would that be good, do you think?
+ If you feel like puttin' your reviewer hat on, it would be the coolest if you left me a rating or review at Goodreads or Smashwords!
+ My sporadically updated blog is currently featuring a post on what moved me to write this in the first place. :)

OMG THE STORE CANNOT SHUT DOWN. It can't. It's like in that episode of Firefly, where Serenity breaks down and they have to abandon ship, but they can't leave, because it's Serenity... I'm feeling that way about the craft store. Just saying. If evilness happens to it, there will be much sadness.
Also, JANE AUSTEN CONVERSATION! <3<3<3 And all the banter reminds me of Buffy and I am dying and thank you thank you for writing this, this is amazing.
I'm not sure of a fantasy casting for Howie, but I kinda feel like Arthur is younger!Ewan McGregor, like Moulin Rouge era-ish. I HOPE THAT IS NOT WRONG.
And now I'm going back to reading.

I may have teared up, just a little bit, at the scene where Howie is helping the newly divorced woman find knitting supplies. And then again at the end. And and will there be a sequel?? Where Arthur becomes a concert pianist genius and perhaps the gang all moves to New York or another fabulous-concert-pianist place OR SOMETHING, because no sequel can be lacking Kristy and Cora, it just can't, OK??
AND AND telll meee, do Mitch and Amber get together? Will Howie's mom ever fully realise the awesomeness that is Emily? WILL ARTHUR GET TO KEEP THE OTTOMAN?
Seriously, you should be sososososo proud of your bad self. This book is AMAZING. It's hilarious and bantery and it has amazing, vibrant, completely loveable characters, and it invoked SO MANY FEELINGS. I wish I had a paper version so I could underline things and draw hearts in the margins.
Also, I love that Kristy loves cleaning the lint screen of the dryer, because PLEASE, that is the best part of doing laundry, for sure. And just... all the completely awesome character touches like that. You are a comedic, novel-writing genius and please please please can there be deleted scenes or author-written fanfic or a sequel or something, pleeeeease.
Umm favourite scenes... the Christmas morning walk! Arthur and Emily singing around the piano at Christmas eve! THE WHOLE SANTA, MRS CLAUSE, ELF, REINDEER scene. And the paaain that was getting stuck in a lift! And umm DRUNK!HOWIE. And every literature discussion. And SINGING MOULIN ROUGE. And the complete emotional destruction followed by shippy glee that was the not!date with Douchy Patrick.
OK, Imma back away from my shift key now, but EEEE. THANK YOU. I was having suuuch a low week, and spending my evenings reading this just made everything a kazillion times better. It made me laugh and squee and ship and fall in love with these characters and just... yay! AMAZING.
