This? Is awesome. Their voices are absolutely spot-on them, and I think the ways that Robin goes out to defend him are just so, so her and absolutely fantastic. I love the Lion King scene, and I love This just in: lions chow down on infant! Reports claim that baby’s last words were, ‘I wuv you, Simba.’ Yeah. That’s happening. so much, I was cracking up.
But the thing is: no they wouldn’t. Lily would push him to find ol’ Uncle Daddy ASAP. Marshall would want to talk about feelings all the time. Ted would probably recite a poem.
I love this, because it's so true and it's just put so simply and succinctly. Because that's pretty much exactly what would happen.
This fic is totally canon in my brain right now, it's such a perfect follow-up to that episode.
