Winter is coming; daylight is fleeting; for the students among us, end-of-semester hell is just about to rear its ugly head. What better way to combat such woes than with a super-cheerful comment ficathon?

The Rules Are Thus:

1. Cheerful prompts! I feel like there's not much regulation here in terms of pairings: almost every ship or pair of characters is capable of a fluffy/happy/silly moment, and if they're not in canon, then why can't they be in fic? However, any prompt involving, say, lyrics from Eminem and Rihanna's "Love The Way You Lie" is probably not appropriate in terms of tone. Unless it's the "guess that's why they call it WINDOW PANE" line, which will never stop being hilarious.

2. Prompt format should go thus:

3. For the fic you've written, please put the following in your comment's subject line: 'Fandom -- pairing -- title.'

4. Be nice!

Any fic that includes "Gotta keep him sharp in case there's evil afoot at the Olive Garden." -- guess what, this just became the piece of writing by which all other pieces of writing will be measured for the rest of my life! "It's no use!" says Rory, running his hands through his hair in frustration (he leaves traces of cerulean at his temples).

"We can do it," Amelia says, soothing and reassuring. "We just need a bigger box, is all. And we need something other than cardboard. And I think it should be a darker shade of blue, too!"

They'd liberated various boxes from the rubbish bin and, under Amelia's strict supervision, Rory had cut out a door and meticulously traced the panels and words. Then she'd decided he was going too slowly and dumped blue paint over it, leaving him to scramble for towels so the paint didn't run all over the carpeting.

"We'll never get it to stand right again," he laments. "Look at it, it's leaning all wonky now."

"There, there," she says and hugs him tightly (Rory hides his blush). "We'll go have some tea and come back with clear heads, alright?" He nods and allows himself to be dragged down the stairs at lightspeed.

"Why," he says around a mouthful of chocolate biscuit, "can't you just have a normal spaceship? You know, all round and silver and stuff?"

"The TARDIS," Amelia tells him furiously, "is not a normal spaceship, Rory Williams. It's special."

"What's so special about it?"

"It looks like a police box! And it has a swimming pool and a library and—it just is, alright?" she sniffs curtly. "Maybe I should get someone else to help me." They chew in silence for a moment.

"You know," Rory says slowly, eyes on his shoes, "Ms. Owens just bought a new refrigerator. That'd be an awfully big box."

She breaks into a grin and grabs his hand. Rory grins all the way down the street and back.

HAHAHAHA, OH, POOR ARTHUR. ♥ This is PERFECT. It's really unfair that Morgana keeps winding up being related to everyone, because I am pretty sure that all those people have crushes on her. And who wouldn't??

One day Morgana would stop being impossibly beautiful, the edge to her words and her blades would dull and his eyes would stop following her in and out of every room. Surely, the day would come. It had to.

Basically, yeah. Because you know they'd all be like "Doing the musical episode: not ambitious enough! Let's do THE WHOLE SHOW onstage! This is how we win!" Old habits, storyline comes in a distant second to MOAR SONGS. (And there's a lot of Buffy scuffling. A whole lot. It's probably Quinn in the end because she's pretty/can dance/Dakota Stanley is not that imaginative, but it's definitely preempted by like a month of Jesse going "we need someone distinctive, a real female soloist powerhouse," and Giselle rolling her eyes and stopping him to tell him that Barbra and Buffy don't mix, dude, so stop hinting about Rachel Berry already.)

I did not cast an Oz, but I can safely say he would be Josh Roth (aka played by Wesley Quinn, the slightly starstruck freshman who's more talented than anyone will tell him to his face).

Thank you so much for this! It was just what was I hoping for. I really loved how it was childish and fun, and it was something I could really picture in my head. Spike throwing dinner rolls at Angel? So totally in character, and so totally perfect. And the girls bonding over weird vampire things like sniffing their hair? Wonderful. I keep trying to pick out favorite lines, but I can't even. I love all of it. This is amazing. Thank you so much for writing this for me, it's such a fun fic!
