Thank you so much! Haha, I don't think you have to have read much of the series or seen the movies in order to get what's going on -- Lost levels of complex, it is not. ;-) And, yeah, I think what's interesting & infuriating about Twilight is that it just seems so ridiculous, the way she presents that love story -- like, I'm sorry, but sixteen year olds are not thinking those thoughts. But at the same time, loving someone & getting screwed over by them, & thinking they're the best thing ever & not being able to be with them & feeling totally unworthy of them -- that's such a real predicament, and yet I really had to step back to even go "Oh, wait, actually I sort of feel your pain, Bella Swan" about the series. So, yeah, it was fun to approach her really unfortunate love-slash-debilitating-obsession with Edward from a stance where ... you know ... this isn't the Greatest Love Story Ever being written, it's just an unhealthy feeling that sucks.
