I think the "maternal" instinct you have her portray towards Annie feels very realistic.

Oh, that's good! While I was writing it, that was totally the perspective I was coming from, but then after I was done I stopped and went, 'Oh, God, what if she seems HORRIBLE, like Vaughn is secretly writing this fanfic!' So I'm glad that's not the case. ♥
