THIS WAS SO UTTERLY DELIGHTFUL! I don't think I can reply to you ever without saying that. Anyway, THE SELF-DEPRECATING META! OMG, only you can break the fourth wall IN FANFICTION and do it as well as the show does it. THE FOREHEAD FIRST AID IN THE BATHROOM! The way he was super intensely aware of his forehead! Gah, I could feel the tension in that scene. Annie's ginormous list of reasons that didn't come to her until after she kissed him! THE PINK BANDAID OF CHEERINESS! Pierce asking why she didn't choose him! (I maybe sort of secretly ship them at times) Troy being eternally oblivious and telling her to double date with him and his girlfriend! BRITTA THROWING A HOLE PUNCH AT JEFF'S HEAD. Starburns! This: She smiles, just barely. Which, for the record, isn’t nearly enough to make up for the Wrath of Britta, or anything. No way.! THE POST-IT NOTE, WHICH HE KEEPS. OMG, this was all so spectacularly in character and completely hilarious and simultaneously hot and ridiculously sweet. IT WAS PERFECTION.
