HUZZAH, that means I've succeeded! I wanted it to read totally on a literal level and just have the metaphor hidden in there, so I'm glad that it did not make itself abundantly obvious. Hee, I think most of my attempts at symbolism and Legit Literary Devices only wind up existing in my own head.
