I was vaguely wondering if you'd seen the latest episode since it screamed of Brotp and then my brain wanted fic in order to carry on for 2 weeks without himym. yeah, I'm rambling, but the point is: this is excellent. You've fit in hilarity, charm and Barney's own brand of heartbroken, and just gah. I also now want to write lyrics to a rendition of "Barney Started the Fire"
